October 16, 2007 – The noise was deafening as an estimated 1,600 motorcyclists assembled on Sunday, Oct. 7, for the annual Bikers for Babies ride. Among the riders were two Whitney Information Network, Inc. team members, Suanne Mosson and Connie Schwarberg, who collected contributions from friends and fellow Whitney team members for the March of Dimes (www.marchofdimes.com/florida).
The annual event began at Barron Collier High School in Naples. Participants rode 40 miles to Centennial Park in downtown Fort Myers to raise money to aid the March of Dimes in its mission of improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
"There were bikes as far as you could see—it was an awesome sight, especially knowing that every biker was contributing money from themselves and others so that they could ride," said Mosson. "We had a lot of fun for a great cause."
